Hospital infantil de Leeds (UK)

We are inviting applicants to join the regional paediatric neurosciences department as a Senior Clinical Fellow (Higher Specialist Trainee level) in Paediatric neurology, based at the Leeds Children’s Hospital at Leeds General Infirmary in West Yorkshire. You would join a team of consultant paediatric neurologists, consultant paediatric neurosurgeons and consultants in children’s neurodisability and neurorehabilitation and be supported by the multidisciplinary team of specialist nurses and therapists.

The post is initially for a 12 month period and is available from September 2021. It is ideally suited to an experienced candidate wishing to gain additional experience in paediatric neurology in a tertiary UK centre wishing to develop their expertise in a supported environment. The expectation is that this role is developmental and we are fully committed to helping the successful candidate realise their career progression goals. Successful candidates would be encouraged and supported to apply for further positions within our department.

We appreciate that some candidates may have limited or no experience of working in the UK and we have created a Job Plan that reflects the need for more support in the early phases of the post, where the successful candidate could progress to working as a locum consultant. Remuneration will reflect the candidate’s level of experience.
